My dating journey was just like yours

My journey was not so smooth. I had so many ups and downs and I'm grateful for all of those experiences. Dating and relationships aren't things you just know. It's something you master over the years. You might learn from reading a book or watching a video. But hey, it's not a rom com movie. It's about your life, about taking responsibility for yourself and getting what you want. It's a lot of stuff, and some of its quite difficult. I went through all kinds of setbacks, but also a lot of good moments. I learned how to embrace both the good and bad times and survived, living a happy and meaningful life. If you're interested in finding your love, or you need help to make your existing love life even better, then, contact me. I’m Elizabeth Tritsch, a Science- based, certified Dating & Relationship coach and Matchmaker.

I'm called the Mistress of Manifesting because I manifested love into my life. I'm like Will Smith in the movie, Hitch, but I’m real. My specialties include how to create a profile that attracts, how to enjoy dating while choosing wisely and how to create a loving, connected relationship.

Are You Pushing Love Away?

Part 1: Are You Pushing Love Away?

Meet Sarah. She’s smart, successful, and completely self-sufficient. She doesn’t need anyone to take care of her—she handles everything on her own.

Promotions at work? She earns them.

Fixing things around the house? She figures it out.

Paying for every date? She insists.

Sarah has always been proud of her independence. But when it comes to dating, she keeps running into the same problem—men seem interested at first, but things never last. They tell her she’s “intimidating” or that they don’t feel needed in the relationship. And deep down, she wonders, Why does it feel so hard to let someone in?

What Sarah doesn’t realize is that she’s struggling with hyper-independence—a habit of relying only on herself, even when she doesn’t have to.

Being independent is amazing—but when it turns into never allowing support, vulnerability, or partnership, it can actually push love away.

Here’s how hyper-independence can show up in dating:

  • Not asking for help, even when struggling

  • Insisting on always paying or handling everything alone

  • Avoiding emotional intimacy and keeping conversations surface-level

  • Feeling uncomfortable when someone offers support or care

Sound familiar? If so, you’re not alone. Many women develop hyper-independence as a way to protect themselves, often because of past experiences where trusting others led to disappointment.

But here’s the truth: Healthy relationships aren’t built on doing everything alone—they’re built on connection, trust, and teamwork.

Breaking Free: How to Start Letting Love In

The first step to shifting from hyper-independence to healthy independence is awareness. Ask yourself:

  •  Where in my life do I avoid relying on others?

  •  Would it actually feel good to have support in some areas?

  •  Am I keeping potential partners at a distance without realizing it?

If Sarah wants to attract a deep, lasting relationship, she doesn’t need to give up her independence—she just needs to learn how to balance it with emotional openness.

In Part 2, we’ll look at what healthy independence looks like—and how it can help you create a love that feels safe, strong, and deeply fulfilling.

Ready to shift from hyper-independence to a healthy, lasting relationship? Stay tuned for Part 2!

Remember, you're only one date away from a LTR (long term relationship)

Warmly,
Elizabeth
