My dating journey was just like yours

My journey wasn't so smooth. I had so many ups and downs, epic fails and I'm grateful for all of those experiences.

Dating and relationships aren't things you just know. It's something you master over the years. You might learn from reading a book or watching a video. But hey, this isn't a rom com movie.

It's about your life, it's about taking responsibility for yourself and getting what you want. Yes, there's a lot to know, and some of it might feel challenging but, I'm here with you every step of the way.

I went through all kinds of setbacks, but also a lot of good moments. I learned how to embrace both the good and bad times and I survived, meeting an amazing man and living a happy and meaningful life.

If you're interested in finding your love, or you need help making your existing love life even better, then let's talk. I’m Elizabeth Tritsch, a Science- based, certified Dating & Relationship coach and Matchmaker.

More dates won't fix the way dating feels

The New York Times just ran a piece called "Forty First Dates and Still Searching." A man named Joseph Pascaretta has spent roughly $65,000 on high-end matchmaking services. Forty first dates in. Still single.

Forty.

And here's the part that stopped me: it wasn't the matches. It wasn't the matchmakers. It wasn't the people who showed up across the table from him.

It was him.

Every single time, he brought the same person on the date: a man who hadn't done the inner work to be ready for what he said he wanted. New face, new restaurant, new outfit, same unresolved patterns sitting in the chair.

That's the trap most daters fall into, and it's the one I watch clients walk straight into before we start working together. You can change the app, the matchmaker, the city, even the entire dating pool, and the common denominator is still going to be sitting across the table.

It's you.

I don't say that to be harsh. I say it because it's the most hopeful thing I know about dating.

If the problem were the people, you'd be stuck waiting on luck. But if the problem is how you show up, that's something you can actually work on. That's something that changes fast when you give it real attention.

This is exactly why I built thePresent Company Challenge.

Starting today,I'm walking single women through 14 days designed to do one thing: get you present enough with yourself that you stop taking the same unavailable, distracted, guarded version of you on every date. Fourteen days to notice the patterns, interrupt them and show up as someone genuinely ready to connect, not just someone technically available.

Because here's the truth, Pascaretta's forty dates prove better than any framework I could write: quantity was never the problem. Presence was.

You don't need 40 first dates. You need one version of you who's actually there for it.

The Present Company Challenge begins today.

14 days. One focus.

You.

Join the 14 - day challenge here.

To your magnetism,

Elizabeth
