My dating journey was just like yours

My journey wasn't so smooth. I had so many ups and downs, epic fails and I'm grateful for all of those experiences.

Dating and relationships aren't things you just know. It's something you master over the years. You might learn from reading a book or watching a video. But hey, this isn't a rom com movie.

It's about your life, it's about taking responsibility for yourself and getting what you want. Yes, there's a lot to know, and some of it might feel challenging but, I'm here with you every step of the way.

I went through all kinds of setbacks, but also a lot of good moments. I learned how to embrace both the good and bad times and I survived, meeting an amazing man and living a happy and meaningful life.

If you're interested in finding your love, or you need help making your existing love life even better, then let's talk. I’m Elizabeth Tritsch, a Science- based, certified Dating & Relationship coach and Matchmaker.

There's a stat making the rounds in relationship research right now that stopped me: couples who deal with regular phone distraction during time together are roughly 70% less likely to say they're genuinely happy. Not annoyed. Not distracted. Actually, structurally less happy — because the pattern erodes trust in a way that compounds over time.

Here's what's interesting about that number. It's not really about phones. Phones are just the easiest place to see it. The real issue is presence — whether you're actually here with someone, or half-somewhere-else, running commentary in your own head while your body sits across from them.

I've watched this play out for nine years, long before phubbing had a name. Two women walk into the same room. Same looks, roughly. Same résumé, roughly. One of them holds the room without trying. The other works twice as hard for half the attention. The difference was never confidence. It was presence. People feel it before they can name it, and it shapes everything that happens next — who gets remembered, who gets a second date, who gets chosen.

That's the whole premise behind something I built: The Present Company Challenge. It's free, it runs for 14 days, and it starts September 1.

One small shift a day. No homework, no overwhelm — just a noticeable difference in how you land by the end. If presence is the part of dating that's been quietly working against you, this is where you fix it.
